Ingredients |
Valdalia onions, cut about 1/4 inch
thick
1 c. plug 2 tbsp. self-rising flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil
Pinch of sugar (optional)

Procedures |

Combine self-rising flour, salt, egg, milk and 2 tablespoons oil. Beat together mixture and dip onions and fry. Sprinkle salt. May add a pinch of sugar to batter if desired.
